Jo Cotterill spent the day running workshops with all the classes and inspiring the children with her fantastic books. We particularly enjoyed listening to the very first story she wrote when she was just six years old, which reminded us that anyone can become an author.

As part of this, Jo will be providing books and activities for our pupils each term, based around a total of three Focus Days over the course of the year. Through these, pupils will learn about empathy, positive mental health and healthy communication.

Jo will also be visiting one of our primary schools on each of the Focus Days and working directly with pupils there
